On July 28, the Ministry of Education (Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Lee Ju-Ho) held the second meeting of the "Committee for Consolidation of Early Childhood Education and Childcare“ at the Government Complex Seoul, and deliberated on the “Plan to Consolidate the Management Systems of Kindergartens and Childcare Centers".

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Lee Ju-Ho said, "By taking it step by step, we will be able to find the best solution to consolidate the two systems and bring happiness to children by serving them well.“ "Going forward, the Ministry of Education will responsibly coordinate - 4 - various issues of the consolidation based on the 10 policies to realize the ultimate vision, and will continue to communicate with the field to realize the consolidation that the people can truly feel the benefit of the consolidated services."
