The Ministry of Education (Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Lee Ju-Ho) and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (Minister Bang Moon-gyu) will host the “2023 Edtech Korea Fair” from September 21st (Thur) to September 23rd (Sat) at COEX in Seoul. At the fair, Korea’s digital education policies and education technology (EdTech) will be presented. This year, the fair is held under the theme, “Innovate Education with EdTech,” which emphasizes education technology as a pivotal instrument in propelling education innovation in the era of digital transformation. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Lee Ju-Ho expressed his optimism regarding the potential synergy between highly skilled Korean teachers and globally competitive EdTech companies. He stated, “If Korean teachers with high expertise collaborate with our globally competitive EdTech companies, Korea has the potential to emerge as a leading nation in digital education and education technology.” He also emphasized his commitment to fostering the “EdTech Korea Fair” into the premier education technology fair in Asia and encouraged all stakeholders to engage in Korea’s digital education journey (K-EdTech).
