On September 7, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Lee Ju-Ho met with his Japanese counterpart, HE Nagaoka Keiko, Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, at Shilla Hotel in Seoul. During the meeting, the two ministers discussed measures aimed at broadening exchanges and fostering deeper mutual understanding among young individuals, building on the initiatives established during the ROK-Japan Summit and the ROK-U.S. Summit, which had prioritized strengthening people-to-people cooperation. The meeting is anticipated to extend educational collaboration between the two nations across a spectrum of levels, encompassing students, educators, and policymakers. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education stated, “We will highlight our commitment to establishing the groundwork for a forward-looking relationship between the two countries by facilitating increased interactions among young people.
