The Ministry of Education held the “2025 Global AI Talent & Education Forum” from Thursday, December 4 to Friday, December 5 at JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul. The forum was organized to support Korea’s goal of becoming one of the world’s top three AI powerhouse nations by discussing AI talent development strategies with countries around the world and exploring cooperative ecosystems for expanding inclusive AI education.

Minister of Education Choi Kyo-jin stated, “In this era of artificial intelligence and digital transformation, I hope this forum opens a new chapter in which the world nurtures talent together.” He continued, “We will make this forum an opportunity for governments, universities, and international organizations?both domestic and overseas?to discuss and design a global ecosystem where AI talent can stay and grow.”

He also added, “The Ministry of Education will work with various partners, including the OECD and Uzbekistan, to build a global talent development system that drives Korea’s rise as a top-three AI nation. We will focus our policy efforts on creating an environment where both domestic learners and international students want to learn, work, and settle in Korea.”
