□ Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Yoo Eun-hae convened the Online Parent-Student Forum with Experts on December 8 at Yangwha Middle School to share information and answers to frequently asked questions regarding COVID-19 vaccination of children.

* Invited Experts : Professor Jung Jae-hun of Preventive Medicine at Gachon University / Professor Choi Young-jun of Pediatrics at Korea University

 ○ Parents and students had a chance to satisfy the curiosity over vaccination through a Q&A session with experts, as well as to share information on COVID-19 prevention measures and vaccination.

□ “We are aware that there are rising concerns from parents on the spread of infection and possible side effects from vaccines, as confirmed coronavirus cases increase,” Deputy Prime Minister Yoo said.

 ○ “However, vaccination is the most effective preventive measure to protect our society, including our children, in the fight against COVID-19. Hence, I’d like to urge your support for extensive student vaccination,” she added.
