On April 10, the Ministry of Education held the 3rd Social Affairs Inter-ministerial Meeting, during which it unveiled the 3rd Framework Plan for the Development of Early Childhood Education (2023-2027). With this plan, the Ministry aims to provide more comprehensive education and childcare service to all children while increasing diversity of early childhood education. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Lee Ju-Ho said, “With this plan, we will lay the foundation for consolidating early childhood education and childcare, and provide attentive support to all children who attend kindergartens as well as their parents.” (April 10, 2023, Seoul Government Complex)
