On May 30, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Lee Ju-Ho participated in the MoU signing ceremony for the School Multifunctional Complex Project at Daegu Catholic University. The Ministry of Education signed the MoU with the National Balanced Development Committee, Gyeongbuk-do, Gyeongsan City, Daegu Catholic University, and other relevant organizations to ensure the successful implementation of the project. This agreement builds upon the Ministry’s School Complex Revitalization Plan, which was announced in March. It encompasses various aspects, such as establishing favorable conditions for the Daegu Catholic University project, sharing project-related materials and information, securing diverse investment sources, and fostering mutual cooperation among the promoting entities.

Deputy Prime Minister Lee said, “We will dedicate ourselves to the successful completion of the Daegu Catholic University’s School Multifunctional Complex Project, giving out utmost effort.” Additionally, he emphasized, “Our aim is to promote the proliferation of school multifunctional complexes across universities nationwide, fostering regional revitalization.” (May 30, 2023, Daegu Catholic University)
