제목 : MOE Revises the School Records  Guidelines

The Ministry of Education (Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, KIM Sang-kon) announced its revision on the "School Anecdotal Records and Guidelines" to support students' increased right to select their own course of study in accordance with the 2015 Curriculum Guideline and its implmentation in middle and high schools in 2018.

As the 2015 Curriculum Guideline is employed in middle and high schools in March 2018, the revised "School Anecdotal Records and Guidelines" reflects the subjects offered in the new Curriculum Guideline and provides an evaluation method for each subject. In addition, a grade calculation method for the common curriculum is newly added so that students can take various subjects based on their aptitudes, talents, and interests.

The Ministry of Education has conducted research since May 2017 to establish the grade calculation method in consistent with the 2015 Curriculum Guideline, and it has been reviewed and confirmed by teachers and experts as well as through the administration notice ('17.12.21~'18.1.11).

The revised "School Anecdotal Records and Guidelines" will be used in all elementary, middle, and high schools starting March 2018.
