-The Ministry of Education (Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Sang-kon KIM) and the National Institute of International Education (NIIED) (President, Kidong SONG) will host the "Online Education Fair 2017" from October 18 to 31, 2017.

The Online Education Fair was first launched in 2015, as a promotional fair on Korean higher education instutions and studying in Korea. It is held for the second time this year.

More than forty-seven Korean universities and students from about 150 countries will come together to participate in the Fair.

-Foreigners and/or overseas Koreans who are interested in studying in Korea can join the Online Education Fair by accessing the website (www.studyinkorea.go.kr). 

To be user-friendly, the website offers information in six languages (Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Russian), and it also provides online consultations.

-During the Fair, Korean universities run promotional booths to give information about their university including admission guidelines, scholarships, and so forth.

-Those who would like to have full access to the Online Education Fair must register online, and once registered, they will receive continous support during and after the Fair.

-Kidong SONG, President of NIIED said, "We will continue to expand progarms like the Online Education Fair to attract international students in order to have 200,000 international students in Korea by 2023."
